Andrassy Thai Hotel

We were checked in by kind and friendly staff and were given a free room upgrade because it was available, so we had a nice big room with a balcony that was surprisingly nice to sit out on (despite looking out onto a busy road). Comfy bed, nice dark shutters and air con made for good sleeping. A potentially difficult location to find (through multiple doors with keypad passcodes) was made easy by very clear instructions prior sent prior to arrival. Very close to metro stations and close enough to many of the city's attractions to walk to them.

Perfect location: one of the fashion streets of Budapest with cafes and boutiques, metro is right here, 20m from entrance. Express bus (101E) to the airport is 300m away. Good size of the room, helpful and friendly staff. Atmospheric house of 19 century.

The room was big and fresh. Toilet was also very big. We knew that as we paid for that, but it was nice to see that was actually true. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and the staff was very nice and very helpful. The place was perfectly located for us, a bit outside from the main streets, but everything was at a walking distance or reachable by public transportation.

What a wonderful hotel!! It's in an amazing location! On the main street with tons of shopping, restaurants, bars, cafes, close to the water, across from St. Stephens Basilica, the Hop on Hop Off Bus stop is across the street, and it's close to several attractions. This is in the heart of it all. The bedroom is spacious with a couch and desk, the bathroom was very spacious and must have had heated floors because they were warm. Loved it! Very nicely decorated and charming. The bed was big and comfortable. Really appreciate the kettle with tea and coffee in the room. We had the room with a view of the Basilica and it was stunning!!! We also were able to send for laundry which was very reasonable and convenient. There is a life and the place is very secure. Ear plugs are provided and helpful. This is a city. You are next to it all. It may be a little noisy. Use the ear plugs. They were perfect. Breakfast is included. There is a wide range of options included. I haven't even told you about the service yet. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and kindly accommodated with patience while we asked a ton of questions and wanted to get settled though we were early. Everyone was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Tibi is the best! I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and thoughtfulness. He went out of his way. Not only am I grateful but what a terrific representation of Budapest and my experience. Lasting impression. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

Very kind lady at reception. Easy access with key code. There's a lift. Nice room with beautiful huge windows, nice bed, small bathroom but I don't mind that, I think clean is more important (and clean it was indeed!) . Windows have wooden screens which are old and didn't close all the way. When you push the chair in front if it, they stay closed a bit better, but light still comes into the room. Andrassy road is, like other reviews mentioned, very busy with lots of traffic. With closed window it's fine though. Location is absolutely brilliant!! Breakfast is fine, not a huge choice, but enough to get you on your way. And a special, different treat is added everyday which is a nice touch. I recommend this hotel 100 procent!!
